ABOUT HPBA

The Highland Park Business Association (HPBA) is a non-profit organization formed in 2000 by a group of concerned businesses, community leaders, and residents with the mission of making Highland Park a better place to live, work, and do business. Since then, HPBA has become one of the most respected organizations in Highland Park representing businesses ranging from small family owned companies such as Fade Away Barber Shop to large corporations such as Magna Seating and the John E. Green Co. The HPBA promotes economic revitalization, supports community and educational events and sponsors the Annual Highland Park Music Festival. The HPBA wants to effect systemic change with several initiatives:

  • Coordinating and advocating with governmental agencies

  • Supporting public safety and facade improvement programs

  • Networking with other businesses, organizations, and religious institutions

  • Maintaining linkages with educational institutions and support programs that benefit youth

  • Disseminating information to businesses
